Working in Duluth, along Lake Superior offers up many moments of beauty. Here was the scene Wednesday night during my walk on the city’s famous LakeWalk that wraps around the water’s edge. The flowers were in boom, and families were out in force enjoying what was perhaps the nicest evening of the summer. Oofta it would be fine if we could have a longer summer here in the Northland. Three months isn’t long enough to shake off the memories of our cold, long winters. But we try to make up for that by enjoying every minute we can in the sun, close to the greatest fresh water lake around, I love this city and I wish I could share it with you and your family!
